the sun-kissed shores of Newport provided the perfect setting for an engagement session that brimmed with moody, ethereal charm. the happiness and raw emotions shared between shannon + rylee were truly radiating for all to see. each click of the shutter was an invitation to preserve the authentic connection and undeniable joy.
as we found our way through the wooded areas and walked along the windy coastline, i reveled in capturing the subtle glances and tender embraces that spoke volumes about the couple's journey together. from innocent kisses against the backdrop of crashing waves to shared laughter under the fading light, every frame reflected the warmth of their love.
with a wedding date set for october, the engagement session became an opportunity to freeze time and savor the anticipation of the journey ahead. the images captured not only allowed this season of life to be frozen, but also serve as a reminder of the exciting chapter soon to unfold.

as a photographer, i sometimes have the privilege of capturing folks throughout different moments of life and with these two - i’ve been able to do just that. from working with shannon at a brewery, to taking their college graduation photos, to capturing a few moments with their puppy, and splashing in the river for a spicy boudoir session… i’ve been so honored to be a part of so many beautiful moments of their life together + can’t wait to celebrate at their wedding (get ready, Camp Colton!) at the end of this year!
